The classic tent shape is a semi-sphere (dome), which holds well in the wind and provides enough space inside. The vestibule adds useful volume. The frame consists of two 8.5 mm aluminum poles. Only one stake is needed for the vestibule. The shape, construction, and materials have been refined — these are details that really matter for comfortable and reliable use.

Two-person camping tent 2+

An updated version of a popular two-person tent — lightweight, simple, and reliable for hiking, bikepacking, and outdoor trips. We kept the proven shape and construction, but improved the materials and details that truly matter in field conditions.

This is a single-wall tent made from 20D silicone-coated fabric, which handles rain well while remaining lightweight. The floor is made from denser 70D material with high waterproofness — you don’t have to worry about moisture even on wet ground.

The shape is classic — a semi-sphere (dome), which holds well in the wind and provides enough space inside. The frame with two 8.5 mm aluminum poles makes the tent freestanding — easy to pitch even on difficult terrain. Only one stake is needed for the vestibule.

Comfort in details

The tent has a small vestibule (~70 cm), where you can store part of your gear, firewood, or shoes to avoid bringing dirt inside.

There is a ventilation vent on top, allowing the tent to “breathe” and reducing condensation while still keeping rain out.

Of course, condensation will occur, and it can be easily wiped off in the morning with a microfiber towel.

Inside — small details that make life more comfortable:

  • a bright yellow hanging shelf under the ceiling

  • two mesh pockets for small items

  • a loop for a lantern

The yellow shelf is not just a detail. It creates a warmer and cozier atmosphere inside the tent: under lantern light, everything looks softer, and waking up in the morning feels more pleasant.

Weather resistance

The tent is designed for 3-season conditions:

  • rainfly waterproof rating — 2500 mm

  • floor waterproof rating — 7000 mm

  • additional storm guy lines for strong wind

The dome shape combined with guy lines handles wind loads well, which is important in open areas or mountains.

Dimensions

  • floor: 215 × 150 cm

  • height: 105 cm

  • vestibule: ~70 cm

  • frame: 8.5 mm aluminum (2 poles)

  • weight: 1070 g tent + 530 g poles + 150 g stakes = 1750 g
  • packed size: 42 × 13 cm

Comfortable for two people with extra space for gear.

Setup

Lay out the tent on a suitable location. Insert the poles into the sleeves, tighten the vent flap if the weather requires it. If the weather is clear — the flap is not needed. Avoid places under old trees or near steep drops. The tent sets up quickly and without “quests.” This is especially noticeable in the evening when you are tired after a long hike — minimal actions and it’s ready. The tent is freestanding, but one stake is needed for the vestibule.

Important

Wipe the tent dry before packing it into the bag. Do not store the tent wet for a long time; dry it well before storage. The silicone-coated fabric does not have factory seam sealing, so for full waterproofness you need to seal the seams yourself with seam sealer.

We recommend doing this before a multi-day trip. You can read detailed instructions on seam sealing in our blog.
