However, since this system still uses basic knots for securing the hammock, a bit of practice will help you set it up quickly and confidently.
To hang it: wrap the wide strap around the tree — for thin trees, wrap it twice. Thread the cord through the free end of the strap and tie it back onto itself with a knot that holds securely but can still be untied easily. A simple bow knot (shoelace-style) works well.
